LaSalle Ethical Hacker (CEH) Exam Preparation

In this course, students will learn the principles and concepts required to build and manage an organization’s networking and security operations and to effectively utilize various resources to achieve operational excellence. The ethical hacker course provides information security professionals with knowledge of hacking tools and techniques for legally accepted security testing purposes.

Certified ethical hackers are skilled professionals that have the knowledge necessary to identify system weaknesses and vulnerabilities. They evaluate the security posture of target systems with the same knowledge and tools a malicious hacker would use, but in a way that is lawful and legitimate. The CEH credential provides a certification for professionals in the network security discipline of ethical hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective.

CEH Certification Purpose:

  • Determine and regulate minimum standards for certifying professional information security specialists in ethical hacking.
  • Demonstrate that certified professionals meet or exceed the minimum standards required.
  • Attest that ethical hacking is a profession that is unique and self-regulating.
